The Slim Fit and Sexy program was life changing. I lost 15 pounds and fit into clothes that hadn’t fit in years.
After I turned 50 my body had changed and I was having trouble sleeping. It was a vicious cycle: working hard, stressed out, drinking coffee in the morning, a stressful job, teenagers, and not getting restful sleep at night. I felt that I couldn’t “fit” exercise into my busy life.
The SFS structured learning environment, workbook, weekly calls and close knit Facebook group, provided support and motivation. The “whole food” recipes and meal planning helped enormously and proved to me that eating well was possible with my schedule, and not that difficult. I added exercise back into my life, which keeps me fit and strong.
I had never done any sort of weight loss program, and I approached the SFS program not knowing what to expect. SFS produced results in my body and mind. The weekly challenges and positive mindset were fun ways to stay focused. After 6 weeks, exercise and meal planning had become habit, and I continue to follow the basic concepts of the program.
Intermittent fasting is an excellent way to continue losing weight, and I’ve not only kept off the 15 pounds but lost 4 more pounds in the months following the program.
One of the best things about SFS is the focus on what works for you over the long term. Changing one’s mindset is an important part of the puzzle. SFS showed me how to put the pieces together.
