I am so thankful I participated in the Slim Fit and Sexy (SFS) program. I was really in a rut in terms of my diet and exercise and felt that I needed help, and the SFS gave me that and more.
I had always been slim but after the last two children, a job with a long commute, and having a child with special needs (life I guess) I started to put on weight. I didn’t think about what I was eating or able to fit in exercise. Then I got news that my A1C level was too high and realized I couldn’t put off my health any longer.
I heard about SFS through Ann Smith, we’ve been friends for years and went to graduate school together. She is a great example of the benefits of Liz’s programs but I was still skeptical. I’m an introvert and just couldn’t see myself engaging in the Facebook component, and definitely didn’t think I could handle the food preparation.
Turns out Liz’s weekly workbooks with recipes, shopping lists and tips made food preparation manageable, and it was actually fun to post my cooking and personal results to the Facebook page to receive support from the other SFSers.
I’m now eating greens, grains, and vegetables with every meal and am doing an activity everyday. And while I was very skeptical of the hoop, I now love it and get at least 10 minutes in every day if not more.

The daily support and feedback that Liz and Ann provided plus the support from all the participants really made a difference. I highly recommend Liz Vequist!
